Instructions and Tips for Use

PME Dog Bone Tool #1 -
The main use for this double ended tool is for making frills and for smoothing sugar flowers. Because the dog bone gives an infinite variety of curved edges it is probably the most useful tool in your box when using for smoothing and frilling. With practice you can get lots of different frill effects with the one tool - the smaller the curve the more frilly your paste will become.

PME Blade and Shell Tool #2 -
The main use for this double ended tool is for sugarcraft modelling. The blade is perfect for cutting marzipan and sugarpaste without dragging. You can also use it for marking lines onto your models. The other end has serrations marked which make perfect shells or paws.

PME Ball Tool #3 -
The main use for this double ended tool is for making frills and for smoothing sugar flowers.

PME Scallop and Comb Tool #4 -
The main use for this double ended tool is for sugarcraft modelling. The scallop is perfect for adding features to faces. The other end which has a zig-zag edge is useful for texturing paste.

PME Serrated and Plain Taper Cones #5 -
The main use for this double ended too is for opening out flowers with deep throats to give an even cone opening. The serrated comb adds patterning to the shape. Useful for texturing and shaping sugarcraft models too.

PME 5/6 Star Taper Cones Tool #8
The main use for the 5 and 6 star tools is in marking petals when making sugar flowers You can also use this tool in sugarpaste and marzipan modelling for textures on the clothing of modeled figures or round the borders of plaques.

PME Bulbous Cone Tool #9
The main use for this double ended tool is for sugar flower making and frills.
This Bulbous Cone end makes beautiful Garrett frills or for frilling flowers particularly the trumpet shaped ones such as daffodils, azalia etc as the pointed end allows frilling without widening the trumpet. The other end allows you to make deep tubular openings in flowers such as Nicotiana, violets, foxgloves and other tubular flowers. It can also be used when sugarcraft modelling.

PME Dresden Tool #10
The main use for this double ended tool is for sugar flower making although it also has uses in frilling and modelling on cakes, cupcakes and sugar modelling.

SCRIBER NEEDLE in TWO sizes! - A thick and a thin needle perfect for separating and reaching those fiddly bits and for transferring patterns to your cakes.

QUILTING TOOL & STITCHING WHEEL
This tool can be used to add fine detail to your sugarpaste. The wheel attachment creates a detailed stitched finish while the other end is great marking lines and for shaping and adding embossed patterns. The veining end is also great for marking veins in your sugar flowers and foliage

3-HEAD DESIGN WHEELER
The 3 wheels - plain, zig-zag and serrated stitch wheel - can be used for cutting or for making patterns on a variety of sugarcraft and craft media including sugarpaste, flower paste, Modelling pastes and craft clay.

CUTTING WHEEL
Because these wheels are so fine they do not cause drag, unlike using a knife, and so cuts your paste cleanly and evenly. For very delicate work the small wheel can be used and where the paste is thicker or the detail not so fine the larger wheel may be used for greater speed and stability.

CRAFT KNIFE
This knife is perfect for all types of craft work, whether cutting out designs in paper or sugarpaste the scalpel blade is fine and sharp and does not snag, and the handle is easily held for precision. It also comes with a ribbon insertion blade.
