Dragon Eyes Mould
This is the Dragon Eyes mould from Katy Sue Designs. It contains a great texture mat for creating dragons Eyes with surrounding skin. Perfect for dragon themed cakes and decorations. Can also be used for dinosaur themed cakes.
Use with the dragon claws mould and the dragon skin mould for a complete fantasy figure.
These moulds produce beautiful items perfect for cupcakes or regular cakes alike!
The whole mould measures approximately 190mm X 65mm.
All Katy Sue moulds are made in the UK and are made with FDA compliant food grade silicone. The Moulds can be used for sugar paste, flower paste, modelling paste, marzipan, chocolate, candy, boiled sugar, cold porcelain, salt dough, air drying clays and embossing powder.
How to Use the Katy Sue Moulds
Wash and dry moulds well before use and lightly dust with corn flour to ease release. Keeping mould on a flat firm surface, push in a smooth ball of paste. Press paste evenly and firmly into mould without overfilling. Use a rolling pin and even pressure to ensure all areas are full and the base is flat. Cut away any excess paste from the edges being careful not to cut into the mould. Turnover mould and release paste embellishment gently onto a clean surface.
The moulds can be made in a base and then painted using food colours - either paste, liquid - or for a lovely sheen use lustre colours with isopropyl alcohol.
Alternatively very small pieces of coloured paste can be pressed into the impressions and then the basic paste colour added to fill the mould. Or for a very simple finish just mould in one colour and then lustre the entire finished mould.
