Katy Sue Moulds Design Mat 4"x 4" - Heart Alphabet
The Katy Sue Heart Alphabet design mat makes very pretty heart shaped lettering.. The letters are small enough for use on cupcakes but can also make fuller inscriptions for larger cakes.
There are 27 individual impressions - one for each letter of the alphabet (capital letters) and a plain heart shaped impression which can be left blank or piped with royal icing for a customized look.
Why not try adding as 'bunting' on cake sides for romantic style cakes such as engagements and Valentines forming the names of the recipients.

All Katy Sue moulds are made in the UK and are made with FDA compliant food grade silicone. The Moulds can be used for sugar paste, flower paste, modelling paste, marzipan, chocolate, candy, boiled sugar, cold porcelain, salt dough, air drying clays and embossing powder.
Instructions and Tips for Use
Wash and dry moulds well before use and lightly dust with corn flour to ease release. Keeping mould on a flat firm surface, push in a smooth ball of paste. Press paste evenly and firmly into mould without overfilling. Use a rolling pin and even pressure to ensure all areas are full and the base is flat. Cut away any excess paste from the edges being careful not to cut into the mould. Turnover mould and release paste embellishment gently onto a clean surface.
The moulds can be made in a base and then painted using food colours - either paste, liquid - or for a lovely sheen use lustre colours with isopropyl alcohol.
Alternatively very small pieces of coloured paste can be pressed into the letter impressions and then the basic paste colour added to fill the mould. Or for a very simple finish just mould in one colour and then lustre the entire finished mould.
