This modelling paste from Renshaws is a firm paste designed for sugarcraft modelling. It sits between the ready to roll range and flower & modelling paste range for firmness. It is great for the modelling of figures etc. for novelty cakes.
The paste can be rolled out thinly without tearing as it has a great elasticity. Moulds well using premade moulds such as Karen Davies and Katy Sue and retains all the details. It also works well with Patchwork Cutters and other fine cutters.
Can be coloured or airbrushed.
Instructions and Tips for Use
Cut a small amount from the pack, knead and warm until it becomes soft and pliable. Warm the paste in the hands for a softer texture. Allow to cool for a few minutes for a firmer texture.
Model figures or roll out. A non-stick board and rolling pin is ideal.
Store in a cool, dry place away from light. Do not refrigerate. Always wrap unused paste in clingfilm and store in cool, dry place. This paste hardens when exposed to air. If you are assembling a decoration, leave to dry for 24 hours
