I am very excited because we have a new range of Karen Davies Products in! I am also thrilled that we have the Crochet Baby Jacket Mould, and with my first nephew being born in October I am eager to try it out.
As with all Karen Davies moulds they are packaged beautifully and are a generally high quality mould, unlike the other poor silicone moulds you can feel how robust they are. There is also a QR code (Quick Response code) on the packaging which directs you straight to the products very own video tutorial!
The great thing about Karen Davies mould is that you can use any paste for the mould, however I find that using modelling paste makes it dry firmer. It is best to dust the mould with cornflour or for that added effect, a lustre dust, before pressing in your paste. You can cut off any excess with a sharp knife as well if you find that you have too much.
It is the perfect little mould for a christening, baby shower or baby’s 1st birthday! It is so realistic as well, and so cute when teamed with the Lottie lace border.
