Royal mail strike action.

rm_strike

Royal Mail service update.

You’ve probably already heard! Royal Mail are due to strike for one day only on Monday 4th November, if the terms offered by the CWU are not met (it’s looking unlikely) then the Royal Mail fleet will be putting their feet up for the day in protest.

We will not be closed and we will indeed still be sending our orders but have been told that no mail would be delivered or collected on the day so we wanted to give you all plenty of notice so you can place any orders nice and early!

Royal Mail quoted over twitter: “The CWU have announced their intention to take strike action on the 4th November, if no agreement has been reached by that date. We are continuing to develop contingency plans to keep as much mail moving for our customers, should strike action take place.”

If you would like further information about Royal Mail services you can visit their website service updates. This will also tell you if there’s any delays for whatever reason in your area… a handy tool when you are waiting patiently on a delivery!
